Hi, my name is Gabriel Pires.
I'm a Brazilian guy, born in 1985. It all began when I was 7 years old.

I was interested in all types of eletronic stuff.
As time passed, my curiosity increased constantly. I grew up and learned a bit about development.

At 12, I wrote my first computer program, a Trojan called ICQ Destroy – things that kids do when they are learning to program.

When I was 14, I became interested in web development, and studied everything I could get my hands on related to the field.

Between low profile companies and personal websites, at 15 I began ‘professional’ work as a freelancer.

Things were reaching unplanned proportions and at 16 I assumed my first job as a Webmaster.

At first the workload and unknowns robbed me of sleep as I became anxious to learn more and more.

I built my career working for companies like OFCDesk LLC, TV1, One Digital and Pivot Interactive Producer, developing projects for Giroflex, HermanMiller, Apothecary, Unilever, Guaraná Antarctica, Samsung, Bradesco, Nextel, Nissan, Warner, Pedigree, Cosan and Brahma.

Today, I'm still in love with technology, programming and everything the field encompasses. Today, I work as a Senior Developer at a game company called Insane.

My passion for technology remains the same as when I was 7 years old.
